Prepare for another trip along the Dark Side.
Lucasarts will be releasing a sequel to the successful 2008 third-person actioner, “The Force Unleashed.”
Set for release in 2010, “The Force Unleashed II” was announced at Saturday night’s 2009 Spike Video Game Awards. It was accompanied by a short teaser trailer, showing the original game’s main character, Starkiller, getting ready to battle a rather nasty – and big – creature.
The official website – www.unleashed2010.com – bears an image of Starkiller and a promise that “The Force Unleashed 2″ trailer will be online on Monday.
Also announced at the awards show was another sequel to an equally praised game. “Arkham Asylum 2″ – as it is tentatively called – is being developed. A teaser was also showe, revealing what looked to be Arkham in a new location, and a possibly sickly Joker behind yet another devilish scheme.
However, “Arkham Asylum 2” – which was not given a release time.
