The first movie may still be packing out multiplexes, but that hasn’t stopped pre-production work from already beginning on Avatar 2. A source for the site reports that technical crew members are now being hired for the film and being made to sign three-to-five year deals.

This predictable turn of events (if true) probably has something to do with the fact that the first movie became the highest grossing movie of all time this week. 20th Century Fox will doubtless want another slice of Pandoran magic as quickly as possible to capitalize on Avatar-mania.
